Ready-made companies

An aged company, with the paperwork a buyer actually pays for

The ready-made company market prices the premium on a live VAT registration, an EORI and an open bank account. Not on age. We keep a small stock of 2025 companies clean and prepared, and we are straight about what is and is not included.

What you get

  • A private limited company incorporated in 2025, active on the register, with no trading history and no liabilities.
  • Confirmation statement filed. First dormant accounts filed. That filing record is what supplier and lender criteria are measured on, and a company with one set on file has started it.
  • The Corporation Tax UTR recovered and on file, so tax registration can start on day one.
  • Registered office moved to an address of your choosing, not the incorporation agent’s.
  • The VAT, bank and EORI route prepared: the evidence assembled and the applications ready for you to complete as the new director.
  • Your appointment, the share transfer and the PSC update filed by us, with identity checks done properly.

What you do not get, and why

  • A VAT number already attached. Registering a dormant shell for VAT means declaring an intention to make taxable supplies that does not exist, and it creates quarterly returns the company cannot file. We prepare the route instead.
  • A bank account in someone else’s name. Accounts are opened by the director who will run the business, with the bank’s own checks. We prepare what the bank asks for.
  • A company at the same shared office address as a dozen others. Six of the wider market’s shells sit at one agent address; a buyer notices. Ours are moved.
  • A trading history that is not real. If you need a company that has traded, that is an acquisition, and we can talk about that separately.
Current stock, September 2026: builders and trade merchants; property and development; non-specialised wholesale. Company numbers on request so you can check them on Companies House yourself.

Common questions

Why not just form a new company?

Often you should, and we will say so. A ready-made company is worth paying for when you need a company that already exists on the register today, with a filing history, for a tender, a supplier account or a lender that asks how long you have traded. Age alone is not the value; the filed accounts and the prepared registrations are.

Does it come with a VAT number and a bank account?

It comes with the route prepared, not the registrations done. We do not register a dormant company for VAT: a VAT application declares an intention to trade, which is untrue of a shell, and it creates a quarterly filing obligation. On the day you take the company on, you register for VAT from your own Gateway with us on the call, open the bank account as the new director, and apply for the EORI. That is honest, and it is quick.

What is in the stock right now?

It changes, so ask. As of this month there are companies incorporated in 2025 in builders and trade merchants, property and development, and non-specialised wholesale, each with its first accounts and confirmation statement filed. We will send the current list with company numbers so you can check them on Companies House yourself.

How does the transfer work?

You provide identity documents for the incoming director and shareholder. We appoint you, resign the outgoing officer, transfer the share, update the PSC register and move the registered office if you want it moved. Then the company is yours, and we can carry on running its filings or hand it over completely.

Ask for the current list

We will send company numbers, incorporation dates and what has been filed, so you can check every one before we speak.
